If a farmer asks for a small donation to cross their patch, smile, say Suksma (thanks in Balinese), and pay the small fee. It supports the community directly and keeps these beautiful paths open.

Swinging High Above the Palms

For those looking to add a bit of fun to their trek, Tegallalang has several famous adventure points. The giant swings are suspended between towering coconut trees, swinging you out over the deep valley floor. It is an amazing feeling, but definitely not for those who are scared of heights.

The staff are highly trained and use heavy-duty safety harnesses, which is reassuring.
